Job Description

Fabricating, installing, and repairing ductwork and sheet metal components for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial and industrial settings. This involves reading blueprints, measuring and cutting metal, assembling duct systems, and ensuring work meets safety and building codes. 

Required Skills

Journeyman's license or equivalent certification in HVAC and sheet metal work.

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and installation.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Skill with various sheet metal fabrication tools and machinery.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Physical ability to work in various conditions, including heights and tight spaces, and lift heavy materials

HVAC apprentice

Responsibilities include performing hands-on tasks like running pipes and ductwork, cleaning equipment, and learning diagnostic procedures, while also attending classroom training to develop a comprehensive understanding of the trade. Key duties include carrying out tasks safely, adhering to company policies, and learning to use various hand and power tools

Required Skills Training: Enrollment in or completion of an HVAC technical program or apprenticeship.

Skills: Ability to follow instructions, good communication skills, and basic mechanical aptitude.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.

Other Requirements: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are often necessary
